On decluttering and a GIVEAWAY

On decluttering and a GIVEAWAY

This Fall I made the decision to revamp the way that we do some things in our household. I live with five boys (my husband included), four of whom are under the age of 8. I was up to my eyeballs in laundry - washing, drying, sorting, folding, putting away. I was starting to feel like that was all that I ever did and I was so fed up with all of it. So I did the only reasonable thing that I could think of: I got rid of ALL THE CLOTHES. Not everything (because that would be slightly crazy), but the bulk of it.

AND. I. FEEL. SO. MUCH. BETTER. I’m doing far less laundry now because my kids only have the essentials. But let’s be real, even since trimming down their wardrobe they still have like 60 articles of clothing between the 4 of them. YEESH. I however love all of the things that are in my wardrobe, so now when I pick out something to wear, there’s no changing three or four times because of a shirt that’s too short or jeans that have a stain. I have the basics; jeans, leggings, tee’s and a few cardigans, but the item that goes with every single outfit and adds that little pop of “oh, she must have her act together” is my gorgeous wood watch by JORD.

I love that it’s neutral and literally matches with everything that I own. Most of the items that I have these days are black, grey, maroon with pops of color here and there, but even if my wardrobe was full of patterns and bright, fun designs, this watch would still fit in just right. It’s the perfect balance of classic and unique and I’m a firm believer that there’s a Jord watch for everyone. You can find the one that I have here: http://www.jordwatches.com/series/frankie/zebrawood-and-champagne/#brooklynboymom. Or go ahead and take a peek at all of the other beautiful designs that they have. Men’s watches are here http://www.jordwatches.com/shop/men/#brooklynboymom and women’s watches are here http://www.jordwatches.com/shop/women/#brooklynboymom

I had never seen wood watches until very recently and I feel like I’ve been missing out. I do not want the same thing for you. I’m considering it my personal responsibility to make sure that you don’t feel like you’re late to the party. Go ahead and get your hands on one of these, be a trendsetter and experience what it feels like to have something beautiful that others are dying to own too.

If you want one for yourself (and I’m sure you do), go ahead and enter the giveaway - the winner will get a $100 JORD credit and all who enter will get a $25 off code. Click the link below to enter. Get on it!
